Parenting and Pedagogy

I am a teacher in a world where educator expectations are constantly changing; it’s enough to drive any teacher crazy. Balancing that teacher life with any semblance of a personal life is a difficult feat. Balancing teacher life with parent life? Almost impossible. Teachers face an impossible mountain of tasks, and we can never quite reach the top; yet, somehow, we must find time for a personal life as well. I am on a quest to be the best teacher, mother, wife, and friend that I can possibly be, while not spiraling into burnout. Laugh through these difficult, yet oh, so rewarding, times with me.
